About Us

The INDIAN HALL OF FAME, SINGAPORE (IHFS) was registered as a society on 4 May 2019, after great efforts by the founding president of the society S A Nathanji, former editor of household magazine, Indian Movie News, also the author of two bestselling books and a former president of Singapore Indian Association. His enthusiastic team members of the Management council, Rozita Hasinar, Sarvindar Chopra, Shena Raj, Radha Vijeyan, Simon Gurmej Singh, Raj Neducherian, V Balakrishnan, Seetha Kumari & Monica Dass, were there to shoulder the responsibilities with him. Special mention and gratitude to Vikram Nair, MP; lnderjit Singh, (Former MP and Entrepreneur), Dr V P Nair, (Interventional Cardiologist & Community Leader), C Kunalan, (Singapore’s Sports Legend & Sr Manager @ SportsSGI, Satinder Singh Gill, (Entrepreneur & Restaurateur) & Ravin-dran Sockalingam, (Sr Associate Director at NUS & former Major (SAFI for their unstinted support throughout.

Singapore Indians have made great strides in all stratum of society in their chosen profession, and in Sports, Social, Cultural, Civic, Political, Educational and other spheres. They have in the process contributed their part in making Singapore a great nation. In appreciation of their outstanding contributions to the Indian community and Singapore and to encourage the continued participation in Nation building, IHFS recognizes the effort of all deserving Indian individuals and honor by inducting them into the IHFS and presenting them with the once in two years IHFS Awards. IHFS is the first of its kind in Singapore to recognize these individuals at the national level.

The IHFS Awards aims to recognise and salute the outstanding achievers amongst Singapore Indians in all fields of endeavour. This is a befitting recognition that will celebrate the achievements of Indians and to add them to the annals of the history of Indian Singaporeans. It’s a celebration of the achievers who have made, or are making, an impact on our nation, the boundary breakers and record holders, the risk-takers and change makers, the role models and the standard setters.
