Maimoon Abu Bakar

Maimoon Abu Bakar represented Singapore in Several Athletics Competitions in Singapore and Overseas.

Activities/Involvement:

Member of SAAA from 1966 to 1980
Represented Singapore in Athletics at SEAP Games, SEA Games and Asian Games
Won Silver Medal for Singapore in 4 X 400 meters at Asian Games in Teheran, Iran.
Won Bronze Medal for Singapore in 4 X 100 meters at the Asian Games which is a National Record
Currently, Management Committee Member of Masters Athletic Singapore.
She has served as a member of the Singapore Indian Association Management Committee from 2017 to April 2022.
She was Chairman of the Ladies Sub-Committee in Singapore Indian Association and she has organised several social and cultural activities.
